Why I am doing this..

I have decided to challenge myself to do something great this year. I have struggled with weight for many years. This includes two different weight loss surgeries with minimal success. As of December 2015 I am 8 months post my second surgery and already gaining weight back.

My goal for 2016 is to chronicle my journey to take 6 million steps in 2016. With this I will journal daily my thoughts, feelings, successes and failures. Hopefully mostly successes, and minimal failures.

I ask from you to follow my journey, give my support, encourage me when I am down, and help keep me moving forward.

I look forward to getting to know you as friends and supporters.
